How do I fix my hot water pressure in my shower?
My house has three showers. Two upstairs and one downstairs. The two showers upstairs work perfectly fine, but the shower downstairs doesn’t. The cold water comes out fine in this shower, but when I switch to hot water hardly any water comes out. A little comes out, but not to the full strength like when its on cold water or the two upstairs showers. Any ideas?
if a single handle cartridge valve you could have an obstruction on the hot side only, if 2 separate knobs for hot & cold & you got goo pressure on the cold, it is probably a clogged pipe, you might have to call one of those clean & epoxy guys (iron pipes? ) – Id say water heater, but you got good pressure up??? could be a bent/damaged pipe.

How to Fix the 0×00000019 Error on Windows Computers
The 0×00000019 error shows on Windows thanks to a problem with the NTFS file system (New Technology File System). This basically means that if you’re using a version of Windows that’s newer than XP (XP was the first to use this new file system), then there is likely a problem with the way in which your computer saves & reads its files. Although the cause of this error is determined by the setup of your system, you can actually fix it pretty easily if you know how.
This error will normally appear as a “blue screen error” and can appear in the following format:

The main reason why the 0×00000019 error shows is down to the way in which Windows processes its files. Not many people realize this, but Windows has been optimized, with the NTFS file system, to make the most use of any hard drive. It basically compresses many of the files it has on your system, allowing them to fit onto your hard drive more aptly.
The big problem that causes the 0×00000019 error is because the NTFS file system for your PC is either unable to save your files correctly, or is unable to read them from the hard drive. And because this issue will likely stop Windows functioning correctly, it causes the blue STOP error to show.
To fix this issue, you can actually download a “hot fix” from Microsoft. This is a simple update that you install on your PC and then resolves the problem you’re seeing. You can download this fix from the Microsoft website, or by clicking on Start > All Programs > Windows Update. You may also wish to download the latest service pack for Windows, as this will allow you to quickly fix many of the common errors for your particular version of this system.
On top of that, it’s also recommended that you use a “registry cleaner” to resolve any of the issues that Windows has inside. A registry cleaner is a software tool which cleans through the central “registry” database of your PC – a storage facility which Windows uses to store vital settings & information for your system. The registry is home to the likes of your desktop wallpaper, latest emails and even your most recent settings, making it vital that your system can read the files it needs to run from it. However, it’s often the case that the registry will become damaged & corrupted, leading your system to be unable to read the files it requires from it, which can case the 0×00000019 error. Do I have to fix the hot water tank in my rental property?
I have a tenant that has not paid rent in 3 months and their water in 5months. I have given them a notice to pay or move out yesterday. Today he called and said the hot water tank is leaking. I have not assessed the situation yet and plan to this evening. However since the tenant owes me almost $4000, do I have to repair or replace the hot water tank? Or can I just turn the water off to it and wait until they move out to fix it?
Most states require that you fix essential appliances for your tenants, even if they are delinquent. And even if your state didn’t require you to fix them, you should anyway. If you don’t fix it, you’re likely to have a really angry tenant who may use your lack of caring to justify causing a lot of damage to the place before they leave.
I am assuming that the water heater is located somewhere outside where leaking won’t damage anything, right?
